years of progressively responsible IT project management experience
Experience with major project management methodologies, e.g., waterfall, agile, hybrid.
Demonstrated experience working with diverse teams and managing a variety of IT projects, including data systems, application deployments, or similar
Adept at extracting and developing requirements documents.
Ability to work with data and conduct high level analysis, create reports to be shared with a wide variety of stakeholders.
Knowledge of project management methodology and experience or familiarity with major program management approaches (for example, PMI, agile, etc.)
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Experience managing projects of a size and complexity similar to the size and complexity of the Department
Certification in project management (e.g., PMP)
Experience working in State government, academic institution, or similar organization.
