Exciting Opportunity for an IT Project Manager in Digital Transformation

Role Overview:
As an IT Project Manager, you will oversee and support several high-profile projects within a major digital transformation portfolio. You'll be instrumental in delivering innovative solutions, improving internal operations, and ensuring compliance with UK Government standards. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong project management skills and experience in both agile and waterfall environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage critical digital transformation projects, ensuring successful delivery and minimal business impact.
Work on the rollout of new Defence Agent Services, improving service delivery and user experience.
Drive the Business Information Transformation project, enhancing collaboration tools and improving internal processes.
Guide the introduction of Purview Sensitivity Labels to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Support the next phase of the Electronic Reporting to Crown Council project, digitising legal processes for improved efficiency.
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in project management, with a strong understanding of all phases of the project lifecycle.
Comfortable working in both agile and waterfall environments.
Strong communication skills to engage and lead diverse teams, stakeholders, and suppliers.
Experience delivering custom-built IT applications and driving digital transformation initiatives.
Previous experience in public sector or government-related projects is a plus.
Ability to handle complex projects and maintain focus on delivering value to business stakeholders.
Essential Requirements:
Project Management qualifications and strong experience in the full project lifecycle.
Familiarity with IT methodologies (agile, waterfall) and digital solutions.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
Offered candidate has to go through enhanced clearance for this role.
