Job Title: IT Project Manager
Location: 100% Remote, candidates local to Corning locations (NY & NC preferred); open to US time zones, must be willing to work EST hours
Duration: 06+ Months


Schedule: M-F 8-5, OT not expected, but may need flexibility based on project need

Job Description:
The IT Network Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of network-related projects within the organization. This role involves coordinating with various departments to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the required quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead global network projects from initiation to closure.

• Develop project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget.

• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure project deliverables are met.

• Constantly monitor project progress and adjust as necessary to ensure successful completion.

• Communicate project status to stakeholders and senior management clearly and concisely.

• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.

• Financial report analysis, budgeting, statement analysis

• Manage project financials - budget, actuals, forecasting.

• Manage ordering and billing processes.

Education and Experience:

• 4-year Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent combination of education and experience (minimum required)

• 3+ years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on IT network projects.

• PMI PMP or similar project management certification is preferred.

Required Skills

• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Proficiency in project management software and tools.

• Understanding of network infrastructure is a plus.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Strong financial acumen

• Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
