Job Summary The IT Network Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing the planning, execution, and successful completion of network-related projects within the organization. This role requires effective coordination with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and in alignment with organizational goals and standards.
Key Responsibilities - Lead and manage global network infrastructure projects from initiation through closure.
- Define project scope, develop detailed project plans, and establish timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with internal IT teams and external vendors to achieve project milestones and deliverables.
- Continuously track project progress, identify issues, and implement necessary adjustments to stay on track.
- Provide clear and timely updates to stakeholders and senior leadership regarding project status and risks.
- Identify, document, and mitigate risks and resolve issues that may impact project delivery.
- Ensure all projects comply with internal policies and external regulatory standards.
- Manage project financials including budgeting, forecasting, actuals, and variance analysis.
- Oversee purchasing and billing processes related to network projects.
- Conduct financial reporting and statement analysis to support project planning and decision-making.
Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience managing IT projects, with specific focus on network-related initiatives
- Strong understanding of project lifecycle management and methodologies
- Proficiency with project management tools and software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision
- Strong financial acumen and experience with budget and cost control
Preferred Qualifications - PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar credential
- Understanding of network infrastructure and technologies
- Experience working in a global or enterprise-level IT environment
Certifications - PMP or equivalent project management certification (preferred)
