IT Project Coordinator

Title: IT Project Coordinator (Contract)- Job

Location: Springfield, MA area

Job Description:
Our client located in the Springfield, MA area has an immediate opening for an IT Project Coordinator to join their team in a hybrid remote capacity. The IT Project Coordinator will be responsible for working with IT Managers and Technical leads to plan, organize, coordinate the successful delivery of IT initiatives

Responsibilities

• Elicit project/initiative requirements and objectives
• Create project and resource plans
• Coordinate with team members to establish schedules, milestones, and individual tasks
• Arrange & lead project and team meetings
• Document meeting minutes and action items, and ensure follow-up
• Track project progress, team performance, and communicate updates to stakeholders
• Utilize project management software such as JIRA to monitor project progress and adherence to schedules

Required

• Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with individuals from various technical and non-technical backgrounds.
• Understanding of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
• A customer-focused mindset to ensure that project deliverables meet stakeholder expectations and address business needs effectively.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects with attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines
• Adaptable and a proactive in identifying and addressing project risks and challenges
• A degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field
• PMP Certification is a plus
• 5 to 10 years' experience as an IT Project Manager/Coordinator
• Demonstrated experience in agile projects
• Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence for project management and reporting
