IT Program Manager for a
Contract job with a client in
Greensboro, NC (Hybrid) . The ideal candidate must have strong leadership skills, the ability to manage cross-functional teams, and experience in overseeing programs within the manufacturing domain.
Rate Range: $56/hour to $79/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
IT Program Manager job responsibilities include: - Leading and managing key program phases, including initiation, planning, execution, and closing, while ensuring dherence to project schedules and budgets.
- Coordinating and directing project teams, motivating and supervising them to achieve program goals.
- Developing program assessment protocols for continuous evaluation and improvement.
- Managing workforce and resource allocation to ensure optimal productivity and project success.
- Communicating effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates, and addressing any project dependencies or risks.
- Ensuring quality standards by applying appropriate methodologies and working closely with assurance teams to verify deliverables.
- Conducting postmortems and lessons learned sessions to identify areas of improvement for future programs.
Desired Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in IT program management, with a focus on manufacturing systems such as MES.
- Proven experience managing programs in the automotive manufacturing industry, preferably with Siemens Opcenter Discrete platform.
- Strong knowledge of the ANSI/ISA-95 Manufacturing Operations Model and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
