Managing and maintaining the information technology systems within a precast concrete manufacturing facility, including network infrastructure, production software, data management, and ensuring smooth operation of computer-aided design (CAD) systems used to create precast concrete components, while also providing technical support to staff across different departments involved in the precast production process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Network Administration:
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting network infrastructure including servers, routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Monitoring network performance and identifying potential issues.
  • Implementing network security protocols.
  • Software Management:
  • Installing, configuring, and updating production software used in precast manufacturing, such as CAD programs (Revit, AutoCAD), mold design software, and inventory management systems.
  • Providing technical support to users on software applications.
  • Data Management:
  • Managing and backing up critical production data, including project details, design drawings, and manufacturing records.
  • Ensuring data integrity and accessibility for relevant staff.
  • Hardware Support:
  • Troubleshooting computer hardware issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
  • Coordinating hardware maintenance and upgrades.
  • Project Support:
  • Collaborating with engineering and design teams to implement new CAD models and design features.
  • Assisting with data migration and system integration for new projects.
  • Security Management:
  • Implementing and monitoring cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive data.
  • Regularly updating security protocols and user access controls.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of network infrastructure and protocols.
  • Proficiency in CAD software used in precast concrete design (Revit, AutoCAD).
  • Experience with database management systems.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing software used in precast concrete production.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
