About the Role
We are looking for a skilled IT Product Business Analyst to join our agile team and support the strategy, vision, and roadmap of one or more technology products. In this role, you will act as the central liaison between business and IT, facilitating product design, backlog prioritization, and feature evaluation throughout the product lifecycle.
This is a highly collaborative role requiring technical expertise, strong business acumen, and the ability to deliver exceptional solutions with a user-first mindset. You will be part of a cross-functional team driving results in a fast-paced and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Product Manager and Product Owner to define product strategy and roadmap.
- Create and manage product backlogs, define MVPs, and ensure delivery of high-quality features.
- Use mind maps and user stories to align product features with guest/user needs.
- Facilitate guest-focused solutions and champion user satisfaction across all product touchpoints.
- Lead efforts to assess and improve product reliability and health.
- Gather and prioritize ideas for product enhancements and new features.
- Collaborate across Delivery, Engineering, Architecture, Infrastructure, and Security teams.
- Lead product usability analysis and recommend improvements based on data and user feedback.
- Support software product installation and integration across platforms.
- Monitor product KPIs and support estimation, pricing, and impact analysis for feature requests.
- Guide installation planning, data conversion, and customer-specific configurations.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of overall experience in a relevant IT or Software Engineering role.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Product Analyst in a technical environment.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), especially Agile methods.
- Demonstrated experience with product lifecycle management, usability analysis, and software implementation.
- Ability to empathize with end users and prioritize features that address their core needs.
- Skilled in troubleshooting, issue resolution, and performance improvement.
- Familiarity with the Travel or Hospitality industry is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across all organizational levels.
Preferred Skills
- Solid technical foundation in software development and systems integration.
- Experience managing multiple product releases or platforms.
- Proven success working with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Marketing, and Sales.
- Comfortable leading initiatives and gaining consensus from multiple stakeholders.
