Role Mission
The mission of the Operational Technology Engineer is to support the OT Manager in driving continuous improvements and creating a "Future Proof" technology backbone. This involves focusing on user experience and resilience.

About you
Key accountabilities, deliverables & KPIs, impact on business results
Unified Communications & Infrastructure
- WAN (Flexnet including hardware and third-party management)
- LAN / WIFI (Switches / WLC / AP's lifecycle & support management)
- Server / Comms rooms (including third-party support management)
- VM hosts / Nutanix (Management & lifecycle replacements and third-party support management)
Operational Technology
- Systems Management - oversee and maintain factory automation systems (Siemens)
- Process optimisation - collaborate with production teams to streamline processes using technology
- Cyber Security - implement and maintain cyber security measures for OT systems
- Data Analysis - analyze production data (PLCs) to identify trends, anomalies & areas for improvement (Siemens)
- PCs, Terminals, PDAs & Printers - manage all connected devices to ensure compliance and operational effectiveness
Functional Skills
- Knowledge of factory IT & OT Infrastructure
- Interest & awareness of emerging technologies (Wi-Fi 6 / IoT / 5G / Edge)
- Project Management skills
- High-level troubleshooting across Network / Infrastructure / OT & Systems
Leadership
