Key Responsibilities
Business Systems Analysis and Application Oversight
- Manage relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB).
- Oversee user access, backups, disaster recovery, and performance optimization.
- Troubleshoot application issues and collaborate with development teams.
- Analyze business processes and recommend systems improvements.
IT Coordination and Infrastructure Oversight
- Act as the internal IT liaison, managing escalations and vendor support.
- Ensure service providers meet SLAs and deliver reliable system performance.
- Support network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, cloud platforms).
- Monitor cybersecurity tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption).
Desired Skills and Experience (If you don't meet 100 percent, don't let that stop you from applying)
- Five or more years of experience in IT coordination, business analysis, or infrastructure support.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and database management.
- Familiarity with networking protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs.
- Experience with system security, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Background working with managed service providers (MSPs) highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience (or relevant hands-on expertise).
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Work Schedule and Travel Expectations
- Monday through Friday, standard business hours (Primary support location: Avilla, IN).
- Occasional travel to Illinois and Wisconsin(Overnight stays may be required).
- Support remote employees and after-hours maintenance as needed.
