IT Network Analyst

M-F, 8am to 5pm

$19.15-23.98 per hour DOE

Our client is hiring for an IT Network Analyst position within their Security and Compliance department. This position works with the daily operation of Access Management and reports to the Account Security Coordinator. In addition, this position provides restricted access to the company's enterprise systems and services to protect the integrity of the computing environment effecting the company's central and administrative databases and systems.

This position is responsible for creating, maintaining, and revoking user access accounts to these systems following strict request and approval processes and procedures. In cooperation with security operations staff, the selected candidate will create and maintain procedural documentation for routine activities and automate the processes whenever possible. This position is expected to perform work within the established computer security and system access policies, procedures and standards of the company and their related entities.

This position is expected to be familiar with all enterprise systems, authentication methods and protocols and to provide information and assistance to users of these systems. These tasks are performed year-round and need support at all times. The selected candidate will always exercise discretion, good judgment and initiative in completing responsibilities and abide by the company's services security and network policies, policies and procedures, and will sign a confidentiality agreement annually.

Job Description: 60% - Account Management and Administration
  • Establishes and revokes computer access and grants data access to authorized users on all enterprise systems administered by the company, including e-mail, webservers, and databases.
  • Ensures only authorized users can access data and creates, maintains, and monitors all accounts.
  • Maintains distribution lists, accounts, and groups with access to network resources.
20% - Support/Problem Resolution
  • Serves as a resource for all related parties to the company requesting assistance with security access.
  • Consults one-on-one with related parties of the company relating to data access issues, passwords, connections, systems software, and general information.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert for access management troubleshooting.
  • Reroute/escalate tickets at a higher level. (using automated ticketing systems)
  • Utilizes system documentation and knowledge base content and consults with other IT staff as needed to resolve problems.
20% - Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma and four years of experience OR an Associate's degree and two years of experience OR a Bachelor's degree.
  2. Minimum three years' experience providing customer service.
  3. Strong written communication skills as evidenced by application materials.
  4. Demonstrated detailed oriented organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Working knowledge of command line interfaces.
  2. Experience in a higher education environment.
  3. Experience with technical documentation writing.
  4. Knowledge Active Directory and/or LDAP, including creation and management of accounts.
  5. Minimum one year experience in creating, maintaining, or revoking user access accounts to computer systems using standard guidelines and procedures.
  6. Minimum three years' experience creating and using databases and/or spreadsheets for detailed record keeping.
Pay Details: $19.15 to $23.98 per hour
