- Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for aspects of network administration including:
o Servers, backups, desktop systems, communications hardware/software and office systems.
• Systems administration includes backups, security management, user account management, e-mail-
• Systems, office systems and applications support.
• Assist in updating the company's infrastructure to the latest technologies. Activities include vulnerability management, patching operating systems, upgrading of hardware and software.
• Supports servers, desktops, printers, and applications.
• Develop, test, and implement IT systems to further business objectives.
• Participate in team meetings; provide input on intelligent solutions to improve efficiency.
• Manage and troubleshoot Windows Server operating systems, including installation, patch management, and performance tuning.
• Implement and manage Active Directory/Azure Active Directory, including user and group administration, Group Policy, and domain controllers.
• Administer, configure, and maintain virtualized environments utilizing VMware technologies.
• Triage, process, communicate, escalate, and resolve all assigned tickets through the IT helpdesk ticketing system.
• Set up and configure all applicable hardware, software, and workstations for new hires.
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
• Maintain compliance with Quality System procedures and company policies
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED required
• Associate degree preferred
• 2+ years of related experience required.
• Strong experience supporting Microsoft environments.
• Strong networking background REQUIRED. Network+ Certification.
• Strong familiarity with Active Directory and Microsoft Server Environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
• Exceptional interpersonal, presentation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to be results-oriented and a continuous learner.
• Ability to multi-task and quickly switch between multiple streams of work.
• The ability to pick up projects mid-stream, be a self-starter, and require minimal supervision.
• Strong work ethic and highly driven.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
