Job Summary Shambaugh & Son is looking for a Network Administrator in our Fort Wayne, IN office. In this position you will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining network infrastructure across multiple remote locations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Configure, monitor, and maintain Palo Alto firewalls and Meraki networking solutions across multiple remote sites
- Implement and manage security policies, configurations, and firewall rules to ensure data protection and compliance
- Provide technical support for network-related issues, diagnosing and resolving connectivity problems efficiently
- Monitor network performance, analyze traffic patterns, and optimize configurations for reliability and speed
- Upgrade systems with new releases and models
- Document playbooks
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications - 3+ years of network administration experience, preferably in a multi-site environment
- Related college degree
- Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls and Panorama for centralized management
- Expertise in Meraki wireless access points
- Knowledge of:
- vCenter
- Windows Server
- Fedora Server
- Rocky Linux
- PowerShell
- HPE Comware switches
- HPE ProCurve
- Palo Alto Firewalls
- Phone Systems
- Good understanding of common network services and protocols
- Strong team player and able to communicate with co-workers regularly
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems
- Knowledge of network cabling and standards
- Possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required
