Job Summary

Shambaugh & Son is looking for a Network Administrator in our Fort Wayne, IN office. In this position you will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining network infrastructure across multiple remote locations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Configure, monitor, and maintain Palo Alto firewalls and Meraki networking solutions across multiple remote sites
  • Implement and manage security policies, configurations, and firewall rules to ensure data protection and compliance
  • Provide technical support for network-related issues, diagnosing and resolving connectivity problems efficiently
  • Monitor network performance, analyze traffic patterns, and optimize configurations for reliability and speed
  • Upgrade systems with new releases and models
  • Document playbooks
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of network administration experience, preferably in a multi-site environment
  • Related college degree
  • Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls and Panorama for centralized management
  • Expertise in Meraki wireless access points
  • Knowledge of:
  • vCenter
  • Windows Server
  • Fedora Server
  • Rocky Linux
  • PowerShell
  • HPE Comware switches
  • HPE ProCurve
  • Palo Alto Firewalls
  • Phone Systems
  • Good understanding of common network services and protocols
  • Strong team player and able to communicate with co-workers regularly
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems
  • Knowledge of network cabling and standards
  • Possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required
