IT Manager with Security Clearance

Job Title: IT Manager Location: El Segundo, CA (100% on-site) Salary: $110k-$175k Clearance: US Citizen - Must be eligible for clearance My client currently is seeking an experienced and driven IT Manager to take ownership of all aspects of the IT stack for a dynamic defense technology startup. This company is at the forefront of transforming the defense industry, focusing on innovative solutions that enhance the capabilities of dismounted soldiers while reducing vulnerabilities. With a strong emphasis on engineering and technology, this organization is poised for significant growth and impact in the defense sector. Key Responsibilities: Manage on-premise and cloud storage strategies ensuring security and compliance with government regulations for controlled data.
Establish and execute a comprehensive cybersecurity plan to mitigate risks from state-level actors.
Lead IT projects focused on cybersecurity, system upgrades, and infrastructure improvements.
Act as the site administrator for enterprise software applications, ensuring efficient operations across all teams.
Develop and maintain an automated management strategy for IT hardware assets, including inventory management and tracking.
Collaborate with procurement and finance to optimize asset selection and utilization for enhanced productivity and cost-efficiency. What We're Looking For: Minimum of 5 years of IT management experience, with a strong focus on IT security and compliance.
Proven expertise in managing both on-premise and cloud-based IT environments.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
