To help us drive excellence, you'll get to: • Manage the Local IT Support resources by defining and setting priorities, providing support/direction, and dealing with administrative issues, as needed.
• Responsible to lead and mentor the local IT Support Team for all North American Plant Locations, and assists with the analysis, diagnoses and resolution of complex technology issues while adhering to company policies and standards.
• Provide technical support to local Support, escalate to other teams or leadership when needed.
• Support/drive implementation of IT projects both internal and external to the team.
• Point of escalation for complex computer and customer issues.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve the overall customer experience including mentor and training or team members
• Provide end user support from users, other IT departments as necessary via email, text, and walk-up.
• Facilitates weekly team flash meeting. Submits weekly flash report to manager.
• Participates in global monthly IT team meeting and presents status of his team.
• Involved in schedule development for assigned team members, such as vacation scheduling, task assignments, on-call rotation, etc.
• Provides model behavior to demonstrate corporate values.
• Provide training, coaching of IT processes and procedures to his team members.
This full-time salary-exempt role is a part of our Corporate IT team and reports to the Director, IT Support.
Required experience: - Bachelor's Degree (information systems or computer science) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in the IT field.
- Two (2) ore more years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
- High level of integrity required due to the sensitive nature of responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of the value of excellent customer service and service delivery.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, team building, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
- Travel Required - 80%
