About the job IT Manager
Responsibilities - - Manages the technology infrastructure and ensures its availability, reliability, and scalability
- Oversees development, implementation and upgrades of software and hardware systems
- Develops and implements policies and procedures for the use of technology within the organization
- Stays up-to-date with advances in technology and makes recommendations for incorporating new technologies into the organization
- Ensures the security of sensitive data and systems, including implementing data backup and recovery procedures and cyber security tools
- Hires and manages IT staff, including assigning tasks and ensuring their professional development
- Creates documentation, communicates changes and organizes/conducts training for employees as needed
- Maintains effective communication and working relationships with team members
Qualifications - Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in our organization
- A high degree of integrity and personal responsibility
- Highly organized, capable of managing multiple tasks and able to prioritize appropriately
Some nice to haves - Experience administering or supporting some of the following technologies Microsoft Windows Servers and Workstations, Firewalls, Microsoft Azure, Office 365, VMWare, NAS, VPN, DNS, TCP/IP
- General understanding of the Microsoft .NET framework C , ASP.NET, AJAX, SQL
