Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive IT Manager to oversee and manage the IT operations across our plants in Vonore and Piedmont. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in IT management, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing and coordinating IT teams in a multi-site environment.
Key Responsibilities - Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage IT teams across multiple plant locations, ensuring optimal performance, coordination, and alignment with organizational goals and IT standards.
- IT Operations Oversight: Oversee and maintain IT systems, including servers, network infrastructure, hardware, and software, across all plants. Ensure seamless operation, security, and reliability of IT systems.
- Support and Collaboration: Provide timely and effective IT support to various departments within the plants. Collaborate closely with departments to implement necessary IT hardware, software, and systems required for their operational efficiency.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact and representative for IT matters within the Saltillo, Agua Prieta, and Chihuahua plants. Maintain regular communication and relationships with stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and solution-driven approach.
- Policy Development and Compliance: Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and standards tailored to the specific needs of each plant. Ensure compliance with relevant IT regulations and standards, coordinating with stakeholders to address any compliance requirements.
- Project Coordination: Work closely with global IT stakeholders to support and coordinate the implementation of IT projects across the multiple plant locations, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in IT operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity overseeing IT team across multiple locations.
- Proficiency in managing computer systems, network infrastructure, security protocols, and systems administration.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in both English
- Proven experience in project management and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience in the manufacturing industry or similar industrial environments.
- Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and manufacturing-specific software.
Location and Travel Requirements This position is based in Vonore, TN requiring regular travel to the Piedmont plant.
