Description

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of PLC systems, diagnostic and resolving issues to ensure optimal functionality. Lead troubleshooting efforts for existing PLC systems.
  • Develop programming for computerized numerical and direct numerical controlled machines.
  • Researches, oversees, and delegates tools, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance of information management disciplines
  • Lead the IT team as business and technology demands and opportunities change, to deliver a high quality customer service that supports the business as well as internal and external customers
  • Manage the procurement, deployment, configuration, maintenance, research, upgrade and support of client services, voice, and data network infrastructure hardware and software options
  • Oversees, monitors, and negotiates all expenditures related to client services, voice, and data networking for the enterprise
  • Performs, oversees, and delegates the troubleshooting of problem situations
  • Consults with programming staff in designing elements of applications systems
  • Performs, oversees and delegates the design, implementation, and maintenance of voice/data network management disciplines, backup operations, procedures and systems for file servers and voice systems
  • Guide, coach and mentor IT staff to ensure team alignment, unity, personal development and company goals are met; includes providing continuous feedback, performance evaluations, etc.
  • Develop and manage annual departmental budget including tracking metrics on requisition functions for IT Staff and department
  • Performs and monitors ongoing client PC and voice support, including setup of hardware and software, problem diagnosis, tracking, and resolution, using available software management tools
  • Monitors/Assists/Trains clients in proper use of PC applications, devices, and peripherals
  • Performs other tasks as required
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of communications related to both the voice and data networking environments
  • Ability to communicate well in oral and written forms with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to communicate technical information to others
  • Strong analytical, quantitative and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
Educational/Training/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • Five (5) years' experience in Information Technology and business management with key emphasis in software management, infrastructure, vendor management, and project management
  • Project management skills, including ability to define work plans, delegate work, monitor progress, report scheduled variances and/or scope changes, and deliver on time and within budget
Physical Requirements:
  • Pushing/pulling, lifting and standing or using force equal to handling materials of 20 to 50 pounds
  • Ability to sit and keyboard for extended periods of time
  • Frequent standing, walking and lifting
  • Exposure to moderately loud noise level
