THE BUSINESS UNIT

This position is intended to convey to the new, independent company, to be named Solstice Advanced Materials when the separation occurs. This is expected to occur in late 2025 or early 2026.

THE POSITION

As an IT Manager: (Cloud/Sun) at Solstice Advanced Materials, you will be responsible for leading IT strategy and assuring effective IT delivery for a Line of Business, region or function within Solstice Advanced Materials. You will be the primary interface to business leaders to define requirements and drive execution of growth and productivity solutions enabled through existing and emerging information technology. You will be a key member of the business leadership team, engaging in all aspects of running the business, with a specialization in the use of technology to fulfill business objectives.

You will report directly to our Data Center & Infrastructure Leader and work out of our Morris Plains, NJ, Charlotte, NC, or Houston, TX locations on a hybrid work schedule.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop business' IT strategy
  • Recommend IT solution roadmaps for Cloud technologies
  • Set local IT priorities
  • Drive continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance/cyber safety
  • Manage expenses to IT Annual Operating Plan
  • Run MOS for solution delivery
  • Provide IT updates to business
  • Educate business on technology
  • Manage IT professionals
  • Manage with vendors
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 5+ years managing infrastructure management
WE VALUE
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Experience in driving digital transformation and change management
  • Strong vendor management skills & experience working across geographies
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to align technology solutions with business objectives
  • Experience in managing and developing high-performing teams
  • Prior experience in managing large scale cloud infrastructure is a plus
  • Strong communication, influencing, and change management skills
  • Deep understanding of technology practices with strong business acumen and customer focus
  • Conveys information with clarity, ensuring messages are understood across diverse, global teams
  • Ability to translate new technology into business value
  • Creative and collaborative problem-solving skills
  • Consistently makes timely decisions even in the face of complexity
  • Mentor and guide peers on emerging technologies
  • Conveys specific, observable, and measurable expectations for each assignment, and verifies understanding on deliverables and timeframes
