Job Description:
Theoris Services is assisting our client in their search for an IT Manager to add to their growing team located in Indianapolis. Our client is seeking an individual to lead the strategic planning, implementation, and management of the organization's technology infrastructure, ensuring alignment with business objectives and emerging trends in audiovisual technology. This role oversees IT operations, including system security, network optimization, disaster recovery, and regulatory compliance. Ideal candidates will have strong technical expertise in network security, IT solutions, and IT governance, as well as proven leadership experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership
    • Develop and execute the company's IT strategy aligned with business goals and emerging industry trends in audiovisual technology.
    • Lead the design and optimization of internal networks and IT systems to ensure efficiency and resilience.
  • IT Operations Management
    • Direct the implementation, maintenance, troubleshooting and security of the company's hardware, software and network systems.
    • Manage IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, hardware, software and networks to support business operations.
    • Lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning for all internal technology systems.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards, including cybersecurity measures to protect data and systems.
    • Create and maintain documentation related to IT processes and procedures.
  • Team and Vendor Management
    • Lead and mentor the IT team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
    • Manage relationships, review and negotiate contracts with external vendors and service providers to deliver cost-effective and high-quality solutions.
    • Oversee the selection, negotiation, and implementation of technology systems and tools.
  • Collaboration and Support
    • Partner with internal teams to support the audiovisual technology needs.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technology-related issues impacting customers or internal stakeholders.
    • Provide leadership in IT-related projects, including system upgrades, software implementations, and hardware installations.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
    • 5+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, preferably in the audiovisual or telecommunications industry.
    • Demonstrated experience managing internal and external networks and IT infrastructure.
    • Experience using and maintaining Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft products including Microsoft 365 and Active Directory is preferred.
  • Technical Skills
    • Broad knowledge of IT hardware, networking and software.
    • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365, Intune and Defender.
    • Proficiency in cybersecurity principles and practices, including firewalls, intrusion detection, and encryption.
    • Strong understanding of IT governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements, including privacy and data retention laws.
    • Experience with project management methodologies.
    • Experience with budget management, acquisition, inventory management and disposition of hardware and software.
  • Leadership and Soft Skills
    • Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving and customer service skills.
    • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
    • Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Flexibility to occasionally work evenings or weekends for system updates, urgent user support, or other emergencies.
