Description
IT SUPPORT MANAGER FULL TIME FY Cherokee County, GA Cherokee Classical Academy seeks a Full-time IT Manager. The IT Manager will be responsible for supporting and maintaining campus technology at the CCA Cherokee County campus. This position would report to the Director of Operations.
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following: - Providing daily IT support to faculty and staff utilizing an Helpdesk system
- Support of campus networks, computers, video, security and other safety systems, AV equipment, and other campus technology
- Ensuring campus technology is reliable and secure through management of enterprise backups, upgrades, maintenance, and monitoring
- Developing and implementing annual IT operation plans within the allocated budget, managing key projects and upgrades to ensure the stability and efficiency of all IT operations within the school.
- Ensuring the security and safe keeping of the school's confidential information and data stored in the IT systems, and ensuring appropriate and acceptable use of the school's network in compliance with data retention and management policies
- Managing technology needs for new and departing employees
- Supporting online testing (e.g., Milestones, MAP)
- IT project work and other duties as needed throughout the year
- Assisting with non-IT duties such as carpool, and summer office coverage.
Qualified candidates will meet the following requirements: - A Bachelor's Degree in a related field from a fully accredited college is required.
- Four years of work experience in IT required
- Candidates should possess excellent written and oral communication skills.

About Cherokee Classical Academy: Cherokee Classical Academy (CCA) is a tuition-free public charter school set to launch in Cherokee County, GA. It will open for grades K-6 in the school year and will continue to add a grade each year until reaching a full K-12 configuration. Families who reside in the counties of Cherokee, Cobb, Bartow, Fulton, Pickens, Paulding, and the cities of Marietta, Cartersville, and Atlanta are eligible to apply for enrollment.
