B. Green & Co, a local family owned and operated business for over 100 years, is seeking an experienced Information Technology Manager to join our team. We are implementing NetSuite, our ERP, and looking for a motivated, take initiative manager to lead the project.
Position Summary: The IT Manager leads a team of (3) three IT Field Technicians that support multiple retail grocery stores. ITMGR oversees the company's technology infrastructure and systems within a retail environment, ensuring optimal operations, security, and efficient use of technology to support sales and customer experience. Including oversight of vendor partner relationships and software services agreements serving our locations. Promotes and maintains the B. Green mission, values, and culture. Provides exceptional communication and service to employees.
Essential Duties: - Leads daily operations of the IT staff, and the activities associated with the identification, prioritization and resolution of reported problems. Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of three IT Field Technicians fostering a culture of continuous learning and problem-solving.
- Manage and maintain IT systems, including point-of-sale (POS), networking, and cloud-based applications.
- Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of retail store technology, including point-of-sale (POS) systems, store back-office computers, computer peripherals, and data networks.
- Communicate regularly with staff regarding the status of projects and outstanding issues.
- Provide oversight and escalation support for IT helpdesk operations, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
- Critical role in the implementation of our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, specifically a cloud-based ERP platform that allows management of various aspects of financials, inventory, sales, and customer relationships.
- Manage internal business relationships and requirements and establish priorities and timelines for solution delivery.
- Manage vendor relationships and act as primary SME to negotiate software and hardware solutions.
- Manage and maintain POS system related equipment, keep current with changing technologies and requirements.
- Define processes and procedures and oversee management of beta testing efforts for new or updated software and hardware solutions for retail locations.
- Manage the Retail Communications Network Day to Day operations. Act as liaison and escalation point with Retail Communications Network providers and establish relationships.
- Establish annual budgets for capital and expenses for the team and facilities. Manage to budget.
- Monitor industry trends and technology changes and advise management on available options and proposed changes and new solutions.
- Act as a liaison and escalation point with IT Field Technicians and technology service providers.
- Lead and implement IT initiatives, such as system upgrades, new software deployments, cybersecurity improvements, and infrastructure enhancements.
- Maintain up-to-date IT documentation and provide training to staff on technology best practices.
- On-Call availability, may be required for emergencies.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience: - Must have Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, or related field.
- Three (3) or more years' experience managing technical teams to implement large-scale ERP/finance systems. NetSuite a plus.
- Knowledge of quality assurance/control procedures and demonstrated proactive problem management skills.
- Experience facilitating meetings and public speaking with large groups.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft (MS) applications including MS Project and MS Visio.
- Ability to balance multiple assignments and achieve quality results in a timely manner.
- Current PMI/Scrum/Agile or related certifications (preferred).
- Knowledge of various SDLC methodologies and related processes/artifacts.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and logical reasoning skills.
- Ability to use problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills to identify project risks/issues and develop/communicate recommendations to address them in a constructive manner.
- Ability to build and sustain positive working relationships with diverse teams.
- Ability to draft client-facing reports/communications in a professional/constructive manner.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment not to exceed 75lb
- Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable form of transportation to travel between retail store locations.
- Technical experience in a retail or grocery store field is preferred.

The incumbent will be required to consistently travel to other facilities, by automobile therefore a current, valid driver's license is required. There will be long, extensive periods of sitting while working on computer but based upon the layout of the corporate office and our retail stores, the ability to walk, stand and climb stairs is required. There may be the need to crawl, push, pull, and/or lift overhead while performing duties.
Work Environment: Work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The work environment is based in a combination of the corporate environment which usually has a low to moderate noise level. As well as the retail environment which is usually a moderate to high noise level.
Work Schedule: Full time role to equate to 40 hours or more per week. Occasionally, there may be business functions that will require your presence on additional nights and/or weekends. This is an on-site position.

The base salary range targeted for this role is
