Job Summary

The Information Technology Manager will plan, establish, and manage information technology (IT) for Hilton properties and projects and will serve as a liaison between the business and technical aspects of assigned properties and projects.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

1. Assigns duties and responsibilities and oversees workflow of project staff.

2. Oversees the day-to-day workflow of IT needs at Hilton managed properties.

3. Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.

4. Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.

Qualifications

Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Assist onsite teams in any technical challenges they may encounter and efficiently track status and progress of tickets in Hilton's Lobby Ticketing portal.

2. Periodically go through onsite systems and ensure user access and permissions are up to date. (HotSOS, OnQ/PEP, Micros, Ambiance, ImpulsePoint)

3. Be the escalation point when Engineering cannot effectively troubleshoot or resolve phone or internet (Wi-Fi) issues in the rooms.

4. Coordinate and oversee to completion any infrastructure projects, whether that is in compliance with Hilton or at the Hotel's request.

5. Productively assist any vendor troubleshooting of hardware or software when needed to support next level escalation.

6. Be available to coordinate any meeting space network requirements for the Sales team and their events.

7. Performs other related duties as assigned.

4. Thorough understanding of project management principles and planning.

5. Thorough understanding of information technology procedures and practices.

6. Proficient with, or able to quickly become proficient with, a range of general and specialized applications, software, and hardware used in the organization and the industry.

7. Proficient with Microsoft Office

8. Ability to motivate groups of people to complete a project in a timely manner.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer or Information Science or related field preferred.

• Experience in Hospitality standards, such as great customer service, effective communication skills and prioritization preferred.

• Experience in IT Application/Hardware/Network support which includes the knowledge of PMS and POS programs such as OnQ/PEP PMS, Micros Simphony, printer and Windows OS troubleshooting, and network troubleshooting regarding VLANs and IP routing preferred.

• At least three years of related management experience required.
