We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic
Project Management and Business Analyst Intern to join our team. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience supporting project management activities and business analysis tasks across various manufacturing and business initiatives. You will work closely with senior project managers and business analysts to help drive key projects forward, assisting in everything from tracking project milestones to analyzing business processes. This internship is an excellent opportunity to build foundational skills in both project management and business analysis within a global manufacturing company.
What You Will Do: - Assist project managers in planning, coordinating, and tracking the progress of projects across various departments.
- Help develop project timelines, create task assignments, and monitor resource utilization.
- Track and report project milestones and deliverables to ensure timely completion within budget.
- Assist in the preparation and documentation of project meetings, including creating agendas, taking meeting notes, and tracking action items.
- Support business analysts in gathering and documenting business requirements for projects.
- Participate in data analysis to identify trends and opportunities for process improvements.
- Help design and implement metrics to measure business performance and project outcomes.
- Assist in creating business process documentation and process mapping.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project needs and business requirements.
- Shadow team members and contribute to key projects, learning how to handle both project management and business analysis tasks.
- Support the team with ad-hoc tasks as necessary, including research, presentations, and reporting.
What You Need: - Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Business Administration, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field.
- Strong interest in project management, business analysis, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to analyze data and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional departments.
Our good faith estimate for the rate for this role is $22- $25 per hour. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and other factors.
This position requires on-site presence at Spellman High Voltage Headquarters in Hauppauge, NY.
