Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Integration Lead to join our IT, Enterprise Applications team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of our application integrations, with a strong focus on utilizing Workato as our primary integration platform. This is a hands-on technical role where you will collaborate with various stakeholders to understand their integration needs, translate those needs into technical specifications, and deliver robust and scalable integration solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of integration patterns, development, and experience working with Workato iPaas platform.
Essential Functions:
    • Lead the full integration lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
    • Design and develop integrations using Workato, leveraging its features and connectors to connect various internal applications and third-party systems.
    • Implement and maintain APIs and web services to facilitate seamless data exchange between applications.
    • Architect our middleware environment using integration best practices including naming conventions, coding standards, documentation standards and guidelines for new integrations.
    • Develop a standardized error handling and notification framework for exception management.
    • Develop and maintain change management guidelines covering ticketing and approvals to govern changes to integrations.
    • Develop and maintain integration documentation, including design specifications, API documentation, and runbooks.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring high availability and performance of integrations.
    • Collaborate with business leads, application engineers, and other stakeholders to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
    • Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in integration, particularly within the Workato ecosystem.
    • Participate in code reviews and ensure the quality of integration solutions.
    • Manage and prioritize integration projects, ensuring timely delivery and within budget.
    • Proactively identify and address potential integration challenges.

Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, or a related field.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in the roles of integration developer, lead or architect. Other combinations of education and/or experience may be considered.
    • 2+ years of experience working with Workato.
    • Strong understanding of integration patterns, including RESTful APIs, SOAP, message queues, and event-driven architectures.
    • Proficiency in data transformation and mapping techniques.
    • Experience with various data formats, such as JSON, XML, EDI and CSV.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
    • Experience with SAP Integration Cloud is a plus
    • Experience working with ERP applications such as SAP S/4HANA, Workday HRIS, Veeva, OKTA identity management is a plus.

Compensation:
The compensation package will be competitive and includes comprehensive benefits and an equity component.

Salary Range: $159,000 - $185,000 (SF Bay Area). Salary ranges for non-California locations may vary.
