WHAT THIS ROLE WILL BE DOING: The IT Summer Intern will play a crucial role in our IT department, focusing primarily on the Windows 10 Replacement project. This position will also involve Active Directory cleanup, patch remediation, and providing support with help desk tickets.
Duties to include, (but not limited to): - Windows 10 Replacement: Assist in the deployment and configuration of Windows 11 across the organization, ensuring a smooth transition from Windows 10.
- Help Desk Support: Provide assistance with help desk tickets, troubleshooting and resolving IT-related issues for end-users.
- Systems Administration: help in organizing and updating Active Directory, User On-Boarding/Off-Boarding processes, patch management remediation, and other System Administrator tasks.
Qualifications: - Currently enrolled in a degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of Windows operating systems and Active Directory.
- Familiarity with patch management processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
