IT Infrastructure Engineer The IT Infrastructure Engineer plays a key role in supporting and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure, including networks, cloud environments, servers, and security systems. This role requires strong experience with Windows servers, Azure, Microsoft 365, Layer 2/3 networking, VPNs, firewalls, and wireless technologies.
Key Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and manage cloud-based and on-prem systems (Azure, Windows/Linux servers, backups, storage).
- Build and maintain enterprise networks, including wired, wireless, and VPN systems.
- Handle escalated technical issues and mentor other IT team members.
- Perform root cause analysis across the network, storage, server, and application layers.
- Ensure business continuity with backup and disaster recovery systems.
- Improve system security, performance, and scalability using best practices and automation.
- Work with vendors on system upgrades and new implementations.
- Monitor and manage the availability and security of key business systems.
Qualifications: - 5+ years in enterprise network/server administration (Windows, Azure).
- 3+ years working with hybrid Azure environments and cloud services.
- Strong knowledge of networking (Cisco), virtualization (VMware), and cloud technologies.
- Experience with scripting/automation (PowerShell, Python, Bash, Ansible, etc.).
- Familiarity with SQL Server and Azure SQL.
Compensation: $100,000 per year
