IT HELP DESK TECHNICIAN

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Help Desk Technician to join our IT team. While supporting employees across all offices you would be an onsite point of contact for IT support in our Reno/ Las Vegas branch, you will handle helpdesk cases, provide technical assistance to end users, and gain exposure to a wide range of IT areas, including Salesforce, Cybersecurity, Networking, and Development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • As a Help Desk Technician your primary objective is to provide technical assistance via phone, email, and in-person support for all company employees.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Windows operating systems, phones, PC hardware, laptops, Surface devices, and software applications.
  • Support and maintain software including Office 365, Foxit PDF Editor, Laserfiche, Micollab, and Azure/Microsoft 365.
  • Document, track, and monitor incidents in the helpdesk ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution and excellent customer service.
  • Collaborate with the broader IT team to resolve complex technical issues and escalate when necessary.
  • Assist with basic networking tasks, including connectivity troubleshooting and device configuration.
  • Participate in ongoing training and skill development, gaining exposure to Salesforce, Cybersecurity, Systems, Networking, and Development.
  • Contribute to IT documentation and knowledge base maintenance.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in information technology or equivalent experience in a technical call center, help desk, or IT support role.
  • Proficiency with Windows operating systems, PC hardware, laptops, and Surface devices.
  • Familiarity with software applications such as Office 365, Foxit PDF Editor, Laserfiche, Micollab, and Azure/M365 a plus.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Certifications such as A+, Network+, Server+ are a plus but are not required.
  • Experience with Salesforce a plus but not required
Additional Information:
  • Location: Reno Office, with occasional travel to other branches as needed.
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, occasional weekends/after-hours work.
