IT Hardware Technician (Data Center)

Long Term Contract (6 month rolling basis), possibility of conversion to an FTE

Location: Onsite; Boardman, OR

Shifts: 4x10 Day Shifts or 3x12 Night Shifts

Pay Rate: $23 /hr. on W2 with benefits

We are looking for Data Center Technicians to join our client's rapidly expanding team.

Responsibilities:
Shift Planning & Task Management: Attend daily team meetings, prioritize and complete hardware tickets.
Hardware Repair & Maintenance: Diagnose, repair, and replace components like motherboards, CPUs, RAM, and power supplies.
Server & Network Support: Perform server diagnostics, replace networking hardware, and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
Decommissioning & Upgrades: Remove old hardware, deploy new servers, and upgrade components as needed.
Media & Storage Management: Handle media-related tickets, including video streaming and digital file access issues.
Documentation & Compliance: Log completed tasks in the ticketing system and follow data center security protocols.
Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine checks to minimize downtime and ensure hardware efficiency.

Qualifications:
Computer Hardware experience, including troubleshooting and repair skills.
Computer Networking experience.
Proven experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system.
Hands-on experience with one or more of hardware platforms (e.g. Dell, HP)

Nice to have:
Industry-level certification on Server/Network/hardware administration (CompTia, LFCS, RHCSA, LPIC-1, CCNP, CCIE, etc)
An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience in an IT-related field.
