Analyzes, manages, governs, and measures IT financial success using flexibility, traceability, and value conversations to shape the financial management and demand to optimize and transform Dollar General. Instrumental in the support of IT budget managers and IT leadership including, but not limited to budget management and analysis, forecasting, coordination, communication, and oversight.

Duties & Responsibilities:
-HR & Team Development
- Builds, provides guidance, and conducts team and departmental training
- Strategic Financial Management
- Develop and produce complex financial analytics and reports to support Strategic Solutions
- Gain financial insight across IT and provide varying views and analysis into IT project/initiatives financial portfolio
- Assists and/or leads financial process improvement initiatives
- Establishes enterprise-wide accounting and budgeting policies and processes, as well as necessary forms and templates
- Acts and serves as IT liaison to Finance, AP, Internal Audit, Tax, HR and any other departments to identify and resolve cost management exceptions and create process improvements and solutions
- Facilitates budget and forecasting processes, including distribution of assumptions, gathering of inputs, validation, and reporting of results across the enterprise
- Assist with IT budgets management including but not limited to yearly budget submissions; monthly reforecast reviews and updates; payment processing, monitoring and tracking; and system and/or reporting updates
- Utilizes all budget knowledge to ensure forecast accuracy and invoice payment align with budget allocations

- Support the development or revision of policies and procedures
- Research, develop, track, and maintain accountability for the development and communication of financial metrics
Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs):
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to effectively listen and communicate efficiently both verbally and in written form with people at all levels up to executives
- Skilled in organization and time management with the ability to prioritize, delegate and follow-up, with emphasis on adherence to deadlines
- Ability to proactively identify financial risks, issues, action items, and facilitate the identification and implementation of alternate solutions
- Resolve conflicts and create lasting productive partnerships enterprise wide
- Comfort dealing with ambiguity and the ability to work independently with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
- Detail oriented - must be able to detect errors, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
- Extensive knowledge of the MS Office Suite with expertise in excel formulas and functions
- Understanding of financial modeling and techniques with knowledge of accounting terminology, best practices, and internal controls
Work Experience &/or Education:
- Two to four years experience in IT required
- Three to four years experience in Business Financial Analysis and Corporate Accounting required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Retail experience preferred
