Position: IT Engineer / Network Engineer

Report to IT Director

Location: Hayward, CA

Salary Range: 80-95k/year (DOE)

• Responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the organization's server, backup server, operating systems, and all related systems or software
• Analyzes and resolves problems associated with server hardware/software and applications software
• Detects, diagnoses, and reports related problems on both server and desktop systems
• Responsible for backup or recovery procedures
• Assists in the development and maintenance of network communications
• Tests and evaluates network systems to eliminate problems and make improvements
• Supports organizational applications; internal servers, user desktops, etc.
• Assists with basic troubleshooting, backup, and archiving
• Helps install and improve computer software and network equipment
• Assists with help desk administration when necessary
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2 to 5 years of similar experience
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the IT industry
