Summary: The Korber WMS Jr. Developer is responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for the Warehouse Management System environment, ensuring optimal system performance and reliability. This role combines technical expertise with warehouse operations knowledge to support business-critical warehouse operations through system administration, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives
Primary Job Functions Provide tier 1 and 2 support for WMS warehouse end users
Troubleshoot WMS system issues and errors using various tools including the Korber proprietary software
Document and track support tickets submitted by end users until resolution
Support RF scanning device issues remotely using stay linked software and debugging the RF scanner to research issues
Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams inside and outside of the distribution organizational unit
Monitor WMS performance alerting and take proper action when needed
Reverse engineer SQL and Korber code to help with finding root cause of issues
Associate incidents to problem tickets for development and bug resolution
Perform root cause analysis for major issues when needed
Provide coding solutions for rhetorical problem tickets
Required Qualification Bachelor Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science and/or Engineering
Hands-on experience with relational databases such as MS SQL / Oracle etc.
1+ years of T-SQL experience
Experience with writing, reading, and troubleshooting SQL queries
Expertise in Software Design, Coding Standards, Code Reviews, Best practices.
Experience with SQL tuning
Strong consulting, analytical and problem solving skills
Must be willing to work in shifts if required
Preferred Qualification Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) experience in HighJump Software, RedPrairie (JDA), Manhattan Associates, SAP- WM, Oracle-WM, Accellos, Infor, etc.
Supply Chain Management domain expertise
