Summary/Objective The Desktop Support Technician I is responsible for configuring, installing and maintaining PC hardware, software, etc for all clients at all hospital locations. This non-clinical position requires skills and experience in computer troubleshooting and repairs. The Desktop Support Technician I must support the mission of providing Sacred Work to all who enter the doors of Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas.

- Provide level 2 technical support to users
- Track orders and escalate issues to other IT teams as required.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Install, setup, move, maintain end user equipment including printers, workstations, mobile devices, etc.
- Analyze and troubleshoot all system failures to component level if necessary and rapidly initiating repairs.
- Support IT and Hospital projects as a resource and technical guidance.
Required Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent
1-3 years of experience
