$32.00/Hr. - $34.00/Hr.

Overview: One of our amazing medical clients in the Baltimore, MD area has an immediate opportunity for three (3) contract Deployment Technicians. The contract will last up to 120 days with a great chance (if performance is good) of rolling over to the next project for an additional 120+ days.

The offering pay rate is $34/hr. and will include medical, dental, and vision benefits that are offered the first of the month following the month of hire for the contract. This role will be 100% onsite, M-F, 8:30-4:30pm. Some limited travel between campuses is required and mileage will be reimbursed.

The contract Deployment Technician must have Win10, Win11, and Lenovo experience and will work through a regular 3 stage client standard refresh process.

Responsibilities: STAGE 1: WALKTHROUGH
  • Staff are responsible for contacting the manager of their assigned department or unit using our refresh script outlining important refresh instructions.
  • Staff will coordinate with the unit/department manager to walkthrough the target area, locate all devices eligible for refresh, identify any specialty software, identify all peripherals used by the eligible devices, verify Win11 compatibility of software and peripherals.
STAGE 2: IMAGING
  • Staff will determine appropriate names for new devices and communicate those names with the team lead for account and Epic record creation.
  • Staff will image the new devices with an appropriate name and description, move the devices to the correct Active Directory OU and install any specialty software or drivers.
STAGE 3: DEPLOYMENT
  • Staff will coordinate with unit/department managers, Epic, and team lead to schedule a deployment date and time - (these times may fall outside of normal business hours based on department needs).
  • Staff will install the new devices and all existing peripherals, perform cable management and clean the keyboard, mouse and work area.
  • Staff will validate the new device is connected to the network, can print and scan, and allows users to access Epic and network drives with no issues.
  • Staff will provide a signed completion of work summary to the unit/department manager and the team lead.
