IT Database Administrator - Project Controls
Under general supervision and occasional direct supervision, the IT Database Administrator performs assignments requiring experience and knowledge of standard concepts within information and databases. He/She displays core competencies by analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures while developing advanced skills.
This position is located on-site at a large Chemical plant in Circleville, OH. No Per Diem will be offered.
RESPONSIBILITES
- Will manage database utilities and monitor relationship between users and applications.
- Applies understanding of relational databases concepts and query languages to design summary and aggregate tables which support analysis.
- Monitors, analyzes and resolves issues related to information flow and data architecture standards.
- Other responsibilities include development and implementation of standards, data modeling and space usage requirements.
- Provides priorities for projects to guarantee completion
REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years IT Database experience on projects
- Working knowledge of Primavera preferred
- Must have intermediate level of experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to function within a project team
- Will comply with all KBR and site safety policies and procedures
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Work is located at a chemical plant and requires exposure to ambient temperature extremes
- Work may require using and wearing personal protective equipment such as fire retardant clothing, hearing and eye protection, hard hat and steel-toed boots
- Day-to-day physical requirements involve standard office activities including sitting/standing for extended periods of time, attending meetings, use of keyboard and mouse repetitively, lifting and carrying less than 20 lbs frequently, etc
- Work requires moderate physical exertion including walking to operating areas and walking up stairs
- May require walking the plant property
