The IT Coordinator coordinates a variety of district-wide projects and provides administrative support for the IT Administrators. This position maintains and provides staff support and training for software used by IT, coordinates and processes contracts, and distributes and receives information on behalf of their supervisory chain as needed. A coordinator is a subject matter expert who may provide direction to staff and works as a bridge between departments, employees, and functions. This position is supervised by an IT Administrator as part of a service-oriented team.

- Starting Pay: The pay range for this position is $6,204.69 - $8,588.66 per month. Employees new to Timberland Regional Library typically start at step 1, 2 or 3 of the pay range, depending upon qualification.

- Coordinates district-wide projects and initiatives requiring frequent communication and solicitation of information from Department Directors, Managers, Administrators, and other staff.
- Develops, coordinates, and implements training events and develops and maintains support materials for staff.
- Provides administrative support for the IT Administrators including scheduling, coordinating meetings, distributing and receiving information to and from groups and individuals, and answering and responding to phone calls.
- Develops, prepares, and presents work-plans, surveys, timelines, metrics, reports, and program proposals.
- May serve as an administrator for software used by IT.
- Collaborates with multiple departments and individuals to assist with and complete district-wide projects. Participates on local and district-wide committees and performs other duties as assigned or required.
Education & ExperienceEducation and Experience: Bachelor's Degree and five years' experience in specialty area of expertise such as project management, library services; OR any combination of education and experience which would provide the required knowledge and skills and allows for successful performance of the job.
Licenses, Certifications, and Special Requirements: - Must have a valid Washington State Driver's License and an acceptable driving record, OR must be able to provide own transportation to and from the job, meetings and related job sites.
- Must pass and maintain a criminal background check.
- The ability to work evenings and weekends and to adapt to schedule changes on short notice.
