Job Summary Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana seeks candidates for an IT Business Analyst position.
Duties include: Conducts assessments to understand client business needs and strategic direction and identifies technology solutions to achieve goals. Performs business analyses, including construction of data models, business use cases, process flows and technical specifications for transition to IT solutions; establishes system requirements through functional and technical assessments of existing software. Assists with the development of test plans and conducts system/integration testing; can test changes, enhancements, and new programs or functions to ensure they meet business needs.
Qualifications Position requires one year of experience in business systems analysis that includes: One year of experience supporting third party software and vended solutions as a business analyst/consultant. One year of experience managing legacy client software and enterprise application needs using waterfall project management methodologies. One year of experience working with cross-functional teams to build technical solutions. One year of experience developing test plans/test cases, running automated and manual testing using current best practices in quality assurance management. One year of experience conducting product walkthroughs and facilitating User Acceptance testing by following industry best practices in acceptance testing and training. One year of experience developing and maintaining test cases for API testing using Postman and running queries using SQL.
Position also requires Bachelor's degree or above in computer science, analytics or computer related field.
