Job Description

The IT Audit and Cyber Assurance Lead will be responsible for:

  1. Leading and delivering high-quality digital and cyber assurance and consultancy services to our existing clients.
  2. Developing a strategic vision for the digital and cyber offering, identifying opportunities for growth and innovation.
  3. Working closely with universities and key stakeholders to understand their digital and cyber risks, providing insightful and practical recommendations.
  4. Overseeing and expanding the team, ensuring expertise in emerging technologies and cyber threats.
  5. Engaging with sector-wide initiatives, contributing to thought leadership, and building the firm's reputation in the field.
  6. Supporting business development activities, expanding our client base, and positioning the firm as a leader in digital and cyber assurance within HE.

The Successful Applicant

The successful IT Audit and Cyber Assurance Lead should have:

  1. A strong background in digital and cyber assurance, risk management, or IT audit.
  2. Experience in providing strategic advice and assurance on digital transformation, cyber security, and/or IT governance.
  3. A track record of delivering high-quality consultancy or assurance services to complex organizations.
  4. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders, present findings effectively, and influence decision-making.
  5. A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, with a drive to grow and develop the digital and cyber services.
  6. Experience within the HE sector is desirable but not essential.
  7. Experience with audit.
