IT Associate Security Administrator
The IT Associate Security Administrator assists the Senior Security Administrator in ensuring that the ministry's computers and servers are protected to deter, reduce, and prevent cyberattacks. The Associate Security Administrator also configures dashboards for situational awareness and automates processes and alerts for the IT Security and Network Operations Center. The Associate Security Administrator will be familiar with the latest protection and automation software, technologies, and techniques.
Protection of Ministry Computer Systems and Servers
Assist Senior Security Administrator in identifying and remediating vulnerable computers and servers. This includes enrollment in Intune, installing anti-malware and anti-virus software, installing Operating System updates, and patching third-party applications.
Track End of Life Systems
Assist Senior Security Administrator in Tracking Operating Systems and applications end of support life dates to ensure that systems and applications are upgraded, replaced, or decommissioned before support ends. If systems and servers are past end of life, continue to track until it is remediated.
Automation & Asset Monitoring
Assist Senior Security Administrator in monitoring for any new computer systems to ensure that they are protected. Update Asset Inventory as needed. Configure and administer Security & Network Operations monitoring and automation tools and dashboards.
Incident Remediation
Assist Information Security Analysists and Security Administrators as needed with other duties as assigned including incident remediation, protection, Security & Network Operations, and improving security measures for the network and systems.

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree In Progress - CybersecurityPreferred Education:BS - Cybersecurity
Work Experience
Required Experience:
1+ years in network securityPreferred Experience:3+ years in network security
