We are looking for a dynamic IT Asset Management (ITAM) Specialist to join our IT Operations team. As an IT Asset Management Specialist, you will be responsible for the governance, accuracy and optimization of IT assets throughout their lifecycle - from procurement to retirement. The ideal candidate has a strong technical, analytical and process-driven skill set and thrives in a large, enterprise-scale IT environment. This position is located in Fairfax, Va. Your future duties and responsibilities: Asset Lifecycle Management Manage and maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all IT assets throughout their lifecycle procurement, deployment, maintenance and retirement. Ensure assets are properly tagged, documented and activity status maintained using the IT asset tracking system. Oversee asset refresh, replacement, and disposal procedures in accordance with company policy and security guidelines. Inventory Management & Compliance Maintain IT equipment inventory levels and reconcile deficits to ensure continual stock is available to support end-user requests. Track and reconcile IT asset inventory across multiple office locations, ensuring compliance with end-user and financial audits. Process inventory management activities related to the physical storage and movement/deployment of IT hardware. Coordinate the cataloguing, assignment, delivery and recovery of IT equipment throughout the organization. Assist with shipping of IT equipment throughout the US, including packaging, generating shipping labels and researching shipments as needed. IT Hardware and Software Support Process IT asset service requests and incidents reported by end-users through the IT service management/ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution. Assist with Tier 2 escalation requests for hardware, software and mobile device support, including diagnostics and break/fix resolution. Manage mobile device onboarding/offboarding procedures, including provisioning, configuration and security policy enforcement. Process Development & Optimization Assist with the maintenance and revision of ITAM policies and procedures to coincide with updates in technology. Assist with the configuration of ITSM dashboards to review asset utilization, software compliance, equipment refresh planning and cost analysis. Collaborate with Procurement and Finance teams to create and maintain accurate records to assist with asset depreciation reporting, lifecycle status, renewal timelines Required qualifications to be successful in this role: 1 - 4 years of on hands IT experience (i.e. hardware upgrades, software upgrades, Tech refreshes) experience with IT service management/ticketing systems Strong communication, organization and multitasking skills Competent in the use of Microsoft Office software Good time management skills and a demonstrated understanding of expected delivery dates and the tasks necessary to achieve objectives Ability to provide prompt, high-quality customer service to members, staff, vendors, and internal customers Ability to help team members and customers embrace processes, procedures, methodologies, and solutions Must be able to move/lift boxes/equipment not more than 50-60lbs CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $38,100.00 - $83,800.00.
