Overview
Advanced Technologies & Laboratories (ATL), a Planned Systems International (PSI) company, is hiring a IT Asset Management Analyst for a hybrid position at the NREL Facility in Golden, CO. The ideal candidate will live within driving distance from the site, will work from home and travel into the site as needed.
Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities
Job Description Summary: Support projects and the daily operations of the IT Asset Management Program
Duties Shall Generally Include: Software Asset Management - Obtain and conduct initial review of End User License Agreements (EULAs)
- Creation and maintenance of software product, model and entitlement records
- Assistance with internal compliance audits and mitigation
- Vendor Management
- Determine the appropriate vendors for acquiring a particular product or service
- Request quotes
- Obtain W-8BEN from foreign vendors as required by laboratory policy
- Queue Management
- Monitor IT Asset Management queue and provide updates to requesters, as appropriate
- Identify and fulfill "Tier 1" requests/tasks
- Other project tasks and duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
- 2 years Software Asset Management experience
- Knowledge of and familiarity with software licensing models for major software publishers: Microsoft, Adobe, etc.
- General knowledge of Hardware Asset Management, computer OEMs, specs and operating systems
- Ability to effectively work in a hybrid collaborative team environment
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Customer service experience and commitment to customer service and support
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Initiative to anticipate issues and provide insight into solutions
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage projects in parallel with daily tasks
- Ability to work independently and with a sense of urgency and accuracy, in a fast-paced team environment
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office suite of applications
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with ServiceNow ITSM and SAM/ITAM functionality
- General technical knowledge and experience
