Tehachapi Cement, LLC is seeking a qualified IT Analyst to join our team at the Tehachapi plant. The IT Analyst will be responsible for providing hands-on technical support to end users, maintaining and improving IT infrastructure, and deploying new technologies in alignment with company standards. This role requires a proactive, adaptable individual with strong troubleshooting skills and a willingness to work in a plant environment. The ideal candidate will have both the technical expertise and communication skills necessary to support daily operations and long-term IT initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Technical Support: Provide day-to-day IT support for users, troubleshoot a wide range of hardware and software issues, and resolve incidents efficiently within established timeframes.
System Monitoring: Proactively monitor IT systems for performance issues and react quickly to minimize disruption. Escalate incidents when necessary and follow established troubleshooting protocols.
Hardware & Software Deployment: Install and configure new hardware and software for new hires and existing staff as requested and approved.
System Maintenance: Perform hands-on maintenance of IT systems, assist with IT infrastructure upkeep, and support coworkers with technical needs.
Onboarding & Training: Support the onboarding process by setting up user accounts and equipment, and provide basic IT training to new employees.
Infrastructure Projects: Support infrastructure efforts including cabling, network hardware setup, and deployment of IT systems at new or existing locations.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Education: Associate's degree in Informtation Technology or related field preferred or IT Certifications with 2-4 years of relevant experience.
Experience: 2-4 years in an IT support analyst or similar technical support role. Experience in cement, construction, or manufacturing is a plus.
Technical Skills: Knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure, including servers, networking, telephony, SAP, business systems, fiber optics, and hardware/software deployment.
Physical Requirements: Must be comfortable working in a plant environment, including outdoor and dusty conditions. Ability to lift, walk, run cabling, and perform hands-on technical tasks.
Soft Skills: Strong communication, time management, and decision-making skills. Detail-oriented and able to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment.
Benefits:
Compensation: Annual salary range of $65,000 to $80,000, depending on experience.
