Envera Systems, a Florida-based, rapidly growing, electronic security company, secures hundreds of gated communities and parks, including gate access and amenities such as clubhouses, pools, tennis courts, etc. Envera's state-of-the-art central station operates 24 hours a day / 365 days a year, protecting the assets of communities and efficiently screening visitors virtually from the central station. We are seeking an IT Analyst to join our team and provide remote support to our customers.

Technical Skills & Responsibilities:
  • Active Directory:Proficient in managing Active Directory (AD) environments, including user and group management, GPOs (Group Policy Objects), and organizational units (OUs). Experience with AD authentication methods and integration with other services.
  • DNS: Strong knowledge of Domain Name System (DNS) configuration and management. Ability to troubleshoot DNS issues, including zone file management and record types (A, CNAME, MX).
  • Networking: Understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANs, and routing. Experience with network devices (routers, switches, firewalls) and network monitoring tools.
  • SQL: Proficient in SQL syntax and commands for data manipulation and retrieval. Experience with database design, performance tuning, and query optimization.
  • Microsoft Access: Proficient in database design and management using Microsoft Access. Experience in creating and modifying tables, queries, forms, and reports. Ability to optimize database performance and ensure data integrity.
  • VBA (Visual Basic for Applications): Strong knowledge of VBA for automating tasks and enhancing Access applications is a plus. Experience in writing, debugging, and maintaining VBA code is a plus. Ability to create custom functions and procedures to improve functionality is a plus.
  • Database Concepts: Understanding of relational database concepts, including normalization and relationships. Ability to develop complex queries and perform data analysis.
  • Data Import/Export: Experience in importing and exporting data between Access and other applications (e.g., Excel, SQL databases). Familiarity with data transformation and integration processes.
Soft Skills:
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently. Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively. Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting databases and VBA issues. Ability to think critically and develop effective solutions to technical problems.
  • Communication: Clear communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Clear communication skills for interacting with users to understand their needs. Ability to document processes, user guides, and technical specifications. Ability to document procedures and share knowledge with team members.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to ensuring data accuracy and application functionality with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Teamwork: Collaborative mindset, working well within cross-functional teams. Willingness to mentor junior staff and assist in team training efforts.
Experience:
  • 2-4 years of experience in IT support or systems administration role.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows Server environments and related services.
  • Participation in infrastructure projects, including AD migrations, DNS setups, or network upgrades.
  • Experience in troubleshooting network and database issues.
