About the job
We are seeking a proactive and analytical IT Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in IT support, system administration, and problem-solving, with a focus on maintaining reliable and secure IT operations. This role involves collaborating with teams to optimize technology infrastructure and deliver exceptional end-user support.

Please note this role will require you to travel to our Aurora, CO office at least once per week.

What you'll do
  • Provide advanced technical support (Tier II) to resolve hardware, software, and network issues for onsite and remote users via ticketing systems.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and group policies within directory services (e.g., Active Directory).
  • Configure, deploy, and maintain corporate devices (Windows and macOS), ensuring compliance with security standards and organizational policies.
  • Assist in managing network configurations, including DHCP, VPNs, and secure authentication protocols.
  • Investigate, document, and resolve technical incidents, identifying root causes and implementing preventive measures.
  • Partner with IT teams to enhance infrastructure, streamline processes, and address recurring technical challenges.
  • Oversee inventory, deployment, and secure handling of IT equipment, including loaner devices.
  • Translate technical issues into clear, actionable guidance for users of varying technical expertise.
Qualifications
  • 2-5 years in IT support, system administration, or a related field.
  • A Bachelors Degree in STEM or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in managing directory services, network protocols (DHCP, DNS), and security practices.
  • Experience deploying and troubleshooting Windows and macOS environments.
  • Familiarity with enterprise device management tools (e.g., MDM solutions).
  • Knowledge of ticketing systems and IT service management (ITSM) frameworks (Specifically Jira).
  • Basic understanding of VPNs and secure authentication methods.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts.
  • Collaborative mindset with a focus on teamwork and process improvement.
  • High ethical standards for handling sensitive data and systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, or Apple certifications).
  • Experience with scripting, Linux environments, or creative software suites.
  • Familiarity with cloud collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft 365).
Compensation and benefits
  • Salary Range: Starting at $70,000 annually, based on factors such as experience, skills, location, company needs, and market demands.
