Position Details:
Patient Population: Adults
Setting: Community Hospital
Responsibilities:

  • Night shifts from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m.
  • Floor calls for 7 units (including CVT Stepdown and CVT ICU).
  • Admissions: 7 10 per night.
  • No in-house codes or rounding; however, the nocturnist will handle overnight calls.

Required Procedures: None
EMR System: EPIC
Support Staff: APP coverage available during daytime only; no overnight APP coverage.
Days Per Month: Open dates include:

  • March 3, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 30, and 31

Submission Requirements:

  • Board Certified
  • Active VA License
  • VA DEA
  • ACLS/BLS Certified (AHA or American Red Cross)
  • 100% Clean Background for temporary privileges
