MPF Federal is seeking an IT Acquisition Specialist who can support the complete acquisition process to meet Information Technology (IT) requirements. This role focuses on enabling mission success and the installation of network services across supported units and organizations.

Compensation: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist in developing and providing input for Statements of Work (SOW), Performance Work Statements (PWS), Sole Source Justifications, Brand Name Justifications, Market Analyses, and other procurement-related documents.
  • Oversee acquisition planning, solicitation, and administration processes.
  • Interpret, evaluate, and assist in developing policies and influencing laws/regulations for emerging IT acquisition strategies.
  • Monitor and ensure the implementation of best practices in IT acquisition.
  • Establish and track IT-related performance measures and quality management.
  • Support capital planning, investment control, and information assurance/cybersecurity initiatives.
  • May include responsibilities for supervising and mentoring junior personnel to support their professional development and ensure team success.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet organizational goals and objectives.
Requirements

Required Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of full-service acquisition support and/or contract requirements package development.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Knowledge of Federal government contracts and programs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, self-motivation, and effective organizational abilities.
  • Ability to adapt to dynamic environments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • 10 years of relevant experience managing comprehensive IT acquisition processes, including:
  • Procurement strategy development.
  • Federal compliance and contract negotiation.
  • Oversight of large-scale IT projects involving cybersecurity, network services, or enterprise systems.
  • Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level I Certification in Contracting or equivalent.
  • Pre-contract award experience.
