Location: Suffolk, VA (100% onsite) Overview:
Seeking an experienced Subject Matter Expert to support Assessment & Authorization (A&A) efforts within a DoD DevSecOps environment. The role focuses on executing A&A tasks in accordance with the Risk Management Framework (RMF). Clearance & Certifications:
• Clearance: TS/SCI
• Certifications (IAT Level III, one required): CASP CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, or GCIH
• Required Training: DISA eMASS CBT, Cyber Awareness Qualifications:
• Master's in Cybersecurity or 10+ years of cybersecurity experience
• 5+ years of experience with DoD cybersecurity policies and directives Key Responsibilities:
• Lead A&A activities aligned with DoD RMF using tools like eMASS
• Apply NIST SP 800-53 and CNSSI 1253 controls, including overlays and tailoring
• Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate security across system development
• Create and maintain required documentation (SSP, SAP, SAR, POA&M)
• Conduct IV&V, STIG checks, security reviews, and manage accreditation timelines
• Maintain accreditation workflows, DISA circuit inheritance, and cloud service compliance
