Description
Manage the process for system definition of new silicon - architecture, design reviews, justifications, specification sign-offs. Coordinate and communicate new silicon intercepts against product roadmaps. Track validation and qualification coverage. Track issues during development (from a product perspective) and communicate, escalate (as necessary), and drive them to closure. Maintain and publish new silicon status.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of industry experience.
- Strong technical background in EE/ECE with sound understanding of Silicon development processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years of industry experience.
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experienced in setting up program/project schedules and work breakdown structures in a hardware setting.
- Experience with portable consumer electronics devices is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $165,500 and $293,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
