Job Details

As an IP Patent Paralegal/Specialist, you'll be a key part of the patent prosecution and maintenance process. You'll be handling everything from filing patents to managing deadlines, making sure attorneys and clients stay on top of their game.

Coordinate U.S. and foreign patent filings with the USPTO and international law offices
Maintain and manage docketing systems for upcoming deadlines, renewals, and required filings
Prepare and file patent assignments, legal agreements, and other essential documents
Track case statuses, ensuring compliance with national and international patent laws
Conduct research on IP laws, patent rights, and industry databases

What You Need to Bring:
2+ years of patent experience (law firm experience preferred)
Strong working knowledge of USPTO, PCT filings, and foreign patent prosecution
Familiarity with Innovation, PATTSY, Lexis/Nexis, and other docketing tools
Meticulous attention to detail-this work is all about deadlines and accuracy
The ability to handle multiple projects at once without breaking a sweat
