Palico AI is looking for a scrappy iOS Engineer. You will be responsible for any iOS application related projects and some of the AI pipelines that them. The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills, an interest in iOS development, large language models, and a passion for delivering a great UX backed by a quality UI.
Responsibilities- You will develop a native iOS app
- You will define the processes around mobile development, including planning, testing, releasing, and monitoring
- You will work with the founding team to design and implement novel mobile experiences
Qualifications- 3+ years industry experience
- Strong Swift fundamentals and a proven track record of working with a modern iOS stack built with Swift, SwiftUI (iOS16+) and UIKit
- Enjoys the craft of building nice UI, creating a good UX, and writing reusable and testable code
- Understands low-level intricacies, and knows how to profile and measure app performance and speed
- Comfortable being scrappy and figuring things out
- A passion for iOS development, and enjoys experimenting with what's new with each iteration of iOS and iPadOS
Palico AI is an early stage startup and we're looking to bring on someone that wants to own their projects end to end. We're looking to push the boundaries of AI experiences that can be brought to consumers and businesses. To that lens we're looking for someone that's not only comfortable building with iOS, but also someone that's interested in working with LLMs.
The cash compensation range for this role is $110,000 - $150,000.
Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including, experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
